Edina Diamond - Jewelry Specialist – Design, Sales & Operations

We are a fun, vibrant, family-owned jewelry business with a solid reputation serving our community since 1977, located in the beautiful city of Edina. In addition to fine jewelry, we offer a large, ever-changing selection of pre-loved designer handbags, and we have a sister company that conducts weekly fine jewelry auctions to a national audience.

We are seeking an experienced jewelry professional to join our team as we continue to grow!

This role is ideal for someone with strong jewelry knowledge who enjoys a hands-on position spanning design, sales, operations, and customer interaction in a well-established but evolving business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct jewelry appraisals and intake evaluations

  • Take in repair jobs, document details, and coordinate work flow

  • Assist with engagement ring design, stone selection, and ordering

  • Support custom jewelry design projects, including ordering and follow-through

  • Source findings, components, and gemstones from trusted vendors

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors and stone suppliers

  • Sell fine jewelry and designer handbags in a retail environment

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout projects

  • Update and manage internal job tracking systems to ensure accuracy and deadlines

  • Support day-to-day jewelry operations and special projects

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the jewelry industry (design, sales, production, or operations)

  • Comfortable assisting with appraisals, repairs, and custom design workflows

  • Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of ChatGPT/AI tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through

  • Professional communication skills with customers and vendors

  • Ability to thrive in a small-team, family business environment
